F.A.P.L.C.A.P. Free Accession Public Loan Circulatory Art Policy

a simple vision;

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has dissolved and it’s approximately 2 million artifact collection is sent on rotation through the homes of 8 million NYC residents- this means every New York City home receives approximately 8 pieces per year for one month each (shipping provided by the city).

Met at Home is a small publication made from an open call asking contributors to imagine if the Metropolitan Museum of Art went into rotating home circulation, to illustrate an object they would temporarily want and where. (Printable Version)

As to give further context, Met at Home is exhibited with the F.A.P.L.C.A.P. Utopian style poster announcing free art possibilities and adjustable Vitrines available to all New Yorkers.
